Chock and Bates to start new chapter at U.S. Figure Skating Championships in Detroit
The past 10 months has proven to be circuitous journey for ice dancers Madison Chock and Evan Bates.

They will be part of a large contingent of ice dancers at the championship and junior levels who have ties to the Detroit area.
Following the Olympics in South Korea in February, where they finished ninth, it was time for a new plan.
Chock knew she needed to take care of the bone chips in her ankle which required surgery.
