Can’t stop this 74-year-old former ice skater

Note: not  really a figure skating story but inspiring nonetheless.

Pat McIlquham has a torn ligament in her knee. She has systematic Lupus that could flare up at any time. She’s gotten sick from sunburns, lost sections of hair at once, endured joint pain. For the Lupus, she takes the steroid Prednisone, which can cause weight gain. She is 74 years old. She has a hernia.…
