WASHINGTON, D.C.  — Winter is steadily approaching and what better way to start the holiday season than with ice-skating!

Multiple outdoor ice rinks in the Washington D.C. area are opening their doors during these next few weeks as the holiday season begins.

The Washington Harbor Ice Rink opens Friday, November 16, and will remain open until March. This rink is Washington’s largest outdoor ice rink and skaters get to glide along the ice next to the Potomac River. If the chilly weather makes you too cold, you can grab a warm beverage from one of the restaurants surrounding the rink.
