60+ Hours of Live Championship Figure Skating Coverage Presented By NBC Sports This Week from the U.S. and European Figure Skating Championships

Every Skater in Every Discipline of Both U.S. and European Championships Will Stream Live on Peacock

STAMFORD, Conn. – Jan. 23, 2023 – 2022 Grand Prix Final bronze medalist and 18-year-old phenom Ilia Malinin and reigning junior world champion Isabeau Levito headline NBC Sports’ live coverage of the 2023 Toyota U.S. Figure Skating Championships this week – featuring every skate live on Peacock — beginning Jan. 24, from the SAP Center in San Jose, Calif.

NBC Sports is set to present over 40 hours of live coverage of the 2023 U.S. Figure Skating Championships this week across Peacock, NBC, and USA Network, starting Jan. 24 at 3 p.m. ET with the Junior Pairs’ Short on Peacock. NBC will present live coverage windows on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, while USA Network will present live coverage windows on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Coverage of every skater in every discipline will stream live on Peacock throughout the duration of the championship event.

Malinin and Levito highlight NBC Sports’ coverage of the 2023 U.S. Figure Skating Championships, with both skaters looking to earn their first career senior U.S. titles. Malinin, the first skater to land a quadruple Axel, ranks second in the world by best total score this season. Levito, who took silver at the 2022 Grand Prix Final, ranks as the top American woman.

Other notable skaters expected to compete this week include Jason Brown, the lone Olympian in the men’s field and a 2014 Sochi Olympic team bronze medalist, 2018 Pyeongchang Olympic team bronze medalist Bradie Tennell, 2018 U.S. junior champion Camden Pulkinen, and the ice dance team of Madison Chock and Evan Bates. Bates has made 12 career senior national podiums with Chock and former partner Emily Samuelson; a 13th podium finish would break the U.S. record for a single discipline. The U.S. Championships will also feature 2022 pairs’ world champions Alexa Knierim and Brandon Frazier, who are seeking their second U.S. title as a team.

On the NBC and USA Network windows, Terry Gannon will handle play-by-play alongside 1998 Nagano Olympic gold medalist Tara Lipinski, three-time U.S. champion Johnny Weir, and 2006 Torino Olympic silver medalist Ben Agosto as analysts. Andrea Joyce will serve as reporter.
